San Francisco

I don't remember how or when I stumbled upon the #pineappleselfie hastag on Instagram, but I quickly became obsessed.  Tim and I have been randomly saying "Damnit Trudy, what about the pineapple ?!??!!" to each other for a decade, so I'm both excited at it's recently explosion of popularity and annoyed that it's not our little joke anymore (see our personal connection to How I Met Your Mother here!)
The pineappleselfie came about with Wrecking Ball Coffee Roasters in San Francisco, who have the most beautiful wall of pineapple wall paper from Rifle Paper installed.  Seriously, it's amazing.
Anyway, when I knew we were headed to San Francisco, I pleaded with everyone that we stop by Wrecking Ball Coffee first thing!

They sell greeting cards with the pineapple print, so I bought one as a souvenir!
Of course, Alex and I spent the whole day singing "I came in like a wreccccking ball!" and "Can't stop, won't stop" Had to!

And oooh rainbow stamp!!
^  Alex's dad was really into peace signs this trip!

OK, so now that we've seen every possible angle of a pineapple selfie, moving on!

We spent the rest of the afternoon walking around the city, stopping for a nice Italian dinner, followed by more canollis!

Our parking garage in Chinatown had fortunes!

The day ended with a performance at Beach Blanket Babylon!  It was really good, I highly recommend!!

Good night San Francisco!
