More to Manson

In Central Washington, just past the city of Chelan, lays the village of Manson.  Located on the middle of the northern side of Lake Chelan, Manson is a community full of enthusiastic residents, over 300 days of sunshine, and a calming atmosphere nestled between the lake and the mountains.

Home to 15 wineries, a brewery, and seven parks, it's an area that will make you feel like you stepped back to a simpler time.
Manson is close to mountain activities/ Echo Valley, and it's the perfect area for boating, bicycling, hiking, or a fun helicopter tour (more on that in a future post!).  This village also boasts more lakeside area than Chelan!

^ Manson Bay Park, which we walked to each morning with our coffees!  Serenity!
Our favorite park was Willow Point, where we ran around through the park and the beach area, taking in the break taking views around us!

Mia hates water, but even she couldn't resist a swim (OK, maybe the ducks had some influence on that!)
One of Manson's fun-filled festivals is the Apple Blossom Festival, which is on May 8th & 9th this year.  See all the events here!

We also visited Wapato Point Cellars to get our wine fix in!  The wine from the Lake Chelan region is our favorite in the whole world!!
The great thing about Manson is that a lot of wineries are within walking distance from downtown (or in downtown themselves!  We were able to walk to four wineries from our hotel, Mountain View Lodge (more about that in an upcoming post!).
Look at that view!
They had a huge backyard area with swings and games!

Mia took solace from the sun under the bean bag toss!

What are you waiting for?  Get yourself to Manson and enjoy a nice relaxing lakeside weekend!
