Barcelona Cathedral

One last post about Barcelona before I move on and show you our fun times in Seville!

The Barcelona Cathedral (Catedral de la Santa Cruz y Santa Eulalia) was located only a few blocks from our AirBNB.  This 14th century building was covered with a neo-Gothic facade in the 19th century.

Barcelona is such a beautiful and unique city!  The architecture isn't just beautiful, it's different than what you see every day, thanks to Gaudi.  Barcelona also captures the idea of a full functioning city that's right on the beach.  Best of all, their metro system rocks!!
