Lake Chelan has always been one of our favorite destinations. It's the perfect getaway from Seattle. We spent the last few days of our honeymoon here, after getting back from Costa Rica. We've camped here as well, but usually come in the off season to take advantage of great hotel rates.
This presidents day weekend, we went with my parents to our favorite weekend spot! They had never been before, and asked us to be their chauffeurs for the weekend.
The hotel we stayed at had an amazing view, but more on that later!
The main reason to come to Lake Chelan is their amazing wine industry. There are 20 wineries set around the lake, all the way over to neighboring Manson. This was our fifth time to Chelan and we still haven't visited them all!!
It was my dad's first time ever wine tasting too, so that was fun!
We went during the red wine and chocolate fest! Yummy chocolate and wine pairings!Fielding Hills Winery was a brand new winery that we got to visit. It was nice and big with plenty of tasting room! There was a nice fire pit outside, gorgeous views, and the best part: wine!
Tsillian Cellars is probably the most popular winery in the region (it's pronounced Chelan!).
This is also where we had a wonderful Valentine's Day dinner! More on that in another post :)!
In case you can't tell, the sunsets and lake views are to die for!! No matter where you go, you have breathtaking lake views with snow capped mountains in the background.
We took a walk along the river walk as we waited for our favorite crepe place to open. Such pretty views!
See you next time, Chelan! Tim and I may be back very very soon!!!
