Bend, Oregon

One place that I've always wanted to go to was Bend, OR.  It's supposed to be a mecca of hiking, river activities, breweries, and a dog friendly atmosphere.

For Memorial Day this year, that's exactly where Tim and I headed!  It was a bit of a drive at 6 hours, but it was totally worth it!

Our favorite stop was Crux Fermentation Project.  There's a dog park attached to the restaurant, so we could sit around eating and drinking and watching the dogs and kids running around.  Bliss!
Mia was a big hit!

We also had a great meal at CHOW.  It was delicious, but I'm not sure if it was worth the hour+ long wait!   We loved that it was dog friendly!
Tim got some lime bacon eggs benedict/french toast thing, and I enjoyed this yummy kombucha drink with my breakfast!!

We also visited McMenamins Brewery, which was in a beautiful old hotel.  We sat out on the patio with Mia and stayed for a long time, relaxing in the shade!

My favorite stop was for some fresh kombucha!!!  My favorite brand is brewed right in Bend, so we stopped by a lot that weekend to fill up!!

We stayed in a great little campsite that was right along the river!

Mia hates water, so we thought we'd try putting her in a life vest!  But she still hated it!!

Till next time!
