I See a Blue Table and I Want it to Be Black

Remember this console table I built for the odd nook behind our couch?

Well recently it went from that custom mixed teal color to....

Black!  And there are no longer any signs left  of my "interesting" attempts at making it look distressed. 
The process was extremely simple.  I just took the table, wiped it down with liquid deglosser (eliminated the need to sand), and then sprayed on the best spray paint ever, Rustoleum Universal Paint + Primer.  I used Glossy Black. 

I rubbed a little chapstick on the nail head trim so that the paint wouldn't stick!
I love having a dramatic and neutral backdrop to play with!
