Kale Chips

Part of my New Year's resolutions were to eat less chips- and I've actually been succeeding!  Kind of.

I haven't tried making kale chips since the first week I became vegan and immediately destroyed them.  But when a friend on Facebook asked me a question about them, I felt it was my moral duty to try them again.  Also, I had literally just walked in the door with a fresh bag of pre-cut kale from Trader Joe's and Meghan let me know how usually bakes them!
All I did was spread some out on a baking sheet, single layer, then lightly mist them with 100% pure olive oil spray.  Then I sprinkled on a combination of spices.  I usually pick a variety of cayanne pepper, chili powder, nutritional yeast, seseame seeds, garlic powder, and always always always, sea salt!

Then bake them at 300 degrees for about 20 minutes- watching them closely because the kale burns easily!- and voila!

A yummy snack that only lasts about 5 minutes because I try to pour the whole bowlful in my mouth at once!

Worth it.
