Thai Sesame Ginger Dipping Oil

On a recent trip to Pike's Place Market, I picked up some dipping oil when the salesman lured me in and talked me into buying some.  I choose a bit of an off-beat flavor, Thai Sesame Ginger.  I didn't think I would ever even use the stuff, and surprise, surprise, I used it three days in a row because it was so amazingly delicious!

The first thing I did was actually use it as dipping oil- that's what it was meant for, right?  Right, but the flavor doesn't exactly mesh well with wine.
Ah, well.  The next night I was trying to pull together some sort of meal with what we had sitting around, and after throwing these veggies in a pan, I was just planning on tossing them around and then eating them with some quinoa and beans.  But, I happened to spy the dipping oil out of the corner of my eye and decided to toss some onto the veggies.

Mmmmmm!  While that cooked, I quickly cooked up some quinoa:
And some garlic bread.  I tried a little something different with this bread.  First, I split it in half, and sprinkled some nutritional yeast on top of vegan butter in the middle of the loaf:

Then I spread some more vegan butter along the top and rubbed a clove of garlic on it:
Meanwhile, the veggies were nice and steamed and ready to eat.
Voila!  It was amazingly delicious!  The dipping oil was just the perfect combination of flavors, and made the house smell soooo delicious!
Mmmmmm :)

In fact, it was so delicious that the next day we decided to try the oil again!  This time, we cubed a bunch of tofu and marinated it.

Then we tossed in some veggies, some more sauce, and eat it all over rice.
Oh my gosh this marinade was so delicious!  We still have a little left, so I'm going to have to think of another way to use it.  I'm thinking a delicious big salad??  I'll definitely be back to Pikes Place for 700 more gallons of it!
