15 Day Challenge Link-Up: Day 4&5

I'm a little behind on the 15 Day Challenge!  I am at home in Kitsap County visiting my granny who is here visiting from NC.  I rarely get to see her so it's been a great time!

Anyways, I'm here with day 4 & 5 of the challenge all in one.

Day 4:  Put your iTunes on shuffle and list 10 songs that pop up. How do they describe you?
  1. Tom Petty- Last Dance with Mary Jane: Well, unless I'm going to describe myself as weed, I wouldn't really say this song describes me.  However, I love me some Tom Petty, and I used to listen to this album constantly!
  2. Glee- Papa Don't Preach: Oh Glee :)  swoon!  Even though the show has gone downhill drastically since the first 13 episodes, I still watch it religiously because of my love for Lea Michele, Cory Monteith, and showtunes.  Papa don't preach is one that I used to listen to constantly (again, this song doesn't describe me at all!)!
  3. Jewel- I'm Sensitive:  I wrote a paper in college comparing Jewel's Piece's of You to Carol King's Tapestry.  4.0 if you were curious!  This was one of the first CD's I ever owned.
  4. Wallflowers- One Headlight:  Such a relaxing song, even though the lyrics are a little sad.  But hopeful!
  5. Vertical Horizon- Everything you Want:  Hmm, what to say about this song?  A 90's song that reminds me of elementary school!
  6. Glee- Somewhere Over the Rainbow: Now, this song does describe me!  I'm a total dreamer and love this song :)  Tim and I danced to the Israel Kamakawiwo'ole mashup with What a Wonderful World as our frist dance.
  7. Foster the People- Pumped up Kicks: Omgosh I think I've listened to this song about 999,000 times in the last few months.  Ad-dict-ted!
  8. Rolling Stones- Miss You: My parents easily could have been Rolling Stone's groupies back in the day.  I grew up listening to them 24/7, and have seen them in concerts twice- Thanks mom & dad!  This song can seem a little creepy, or kind groovy.
  9. Curtis Mayfield- Tears of a Clown:  This song makes me think of American Dreams- they must have played it during an episode.  Anyway, Curtis Mayfield is always fun to groove to- old school R&B sounds like Ray Charles, Otis Redding, and Sam Cooke make me swoon.
  10. David Bowie- Changes:  Oh man this is one of my favorite songs.  I used to listen to this on repeat during my teenage "angst" phase..:)!  It still makes me so happy "Oh, look out you rock 'n rollers! Ch-ch-ch-ch-Changes!!"
I'm surprised how little these all describe me except to show case my varied taste in music pretty well!

Day 5: Do you have any favorite websites? What are they?

Oh yeah I do!  The top two sites I love are Pinterest and Young House Love- I get 99% of my ideas from these two sites and if I'm going to kill some time, it's going to be on those sites!
